Recombinant PAI1 Protein

Description

Product Characteristics: Recombinant Mouse Plasminogen activator inhibitor 1/SERPIN E1 is produced by our mammalian expression system in human cells. The target protein is expressed with sequence (Leu24-Ser402) of Mouse SERPIN E1 fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
antibodies-online can provide customization with regards to expression system, tag location and sequence for our made to order proteins designed and produced in Germany. Please contact our customer support for further information.:

Target Information: This gene encodes a member of the serine proteinase inhibitor (serpin) superfamily. This member is the principal inhibitor of tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) and urokinase (uPA), and hence is an inhibitor of fibrinolysis. Defects in this gene are the cause of plasminogen activator inhibitor-1 deficiency (PAI-1 deficiency), and high concentrations of the gene product are associated with thrombophilia. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009]
